Canadian Snowsports Association (CSA)

 

 

The CSA is a Federation representing ten snowsport member groups, whose mandate is the development of elite amateur athletes and the pursuit of excellence at national and international level competition in the nine skiing disciplines. Each of the nine ski disciplines operates through regional/provincial divisions and represents over 700 ski clubs with over 100,000 members. Incorporated in 1920, the CSA is the National Ski Association for Canada and represents Canada within the world governing body for ski and snowboard, the International Ski Federation (FIS). The ten member groups of the CSA are: Alpine Canada, Cross Country Canada, Canadian Freestyle Ski Association, Ski Jumping Canada, Nordic Combined Canada, Canadian Snowboard Federation, Telemark Canada, Speed Skiing Canada , Canadian Association of Disabled Skiing and Canadian Ski Coaches Federation.
