Twenty Centimetres of Powder Blankets Sunshine
Twenty Centimetres of Powder Blankets Sunshine
Sunshine is under a blanket of pure white today, after a 20-cm overnight snowfall covered the slopes in fresh powder.
Just one day short of fall’s official arrival, the snowfall bodes well for the coming season.
With six-day snow reports predicting even more of the glorious white stuff on the immediate horizon, all signs are pointing to a solid Nov. 11 kickoff at Sunshine Village.
The new Strawberry Express high speed quad, our tribute to the 2010 Games in Vancouver, will be ready to rip on opening day. The newly re-vamped Creekside building will also be feature greatly improved restaurant, retail and customer service areas.
