The jewel of the Côte-de-Beaupré region celebrates this season its half century of operations! Mont-Sainte-Anne, this legendary face of the ski industry in Quebec and in Canada, is happy to launch the festivities of its 50th anniversary.

For the occasion:

  • Starring the heart of the mountain: the employees! One of them even celebrates 50 years working in the business. Also, here is an interesting human stat: 20% of all employees are working there for over 25 years!
  • A “heart project” for a permanent legacy in the mountains: A giant mural painted by the 125 students of “Collège des Hauts Sommets” will be inaugurated shortly, making honour to the 50th anniversary of the mountain and their shared values with it. The organisation “Sautozieux” is the leader of this art project and counts several major works in the province.
  • A special edition 50th anniversary ski launched by Rossignol: only 50 pairs available on the planet!

The special atmosphere and environment surrounding the mountain will throw the visitors back in time with the help of a few tricks… like our historical photo booth located in a gondola at the base of the mountain a giant timeline printed on the main lodge wall or a huge painting created by kids of a local school.

50 ways to celebrate 50 years

To be sure to leave a mark or a track in the snow for its 50 anniversary, Mont-Sainte-Anne has produced its own skis, partnering with Rossignol for this particular project. 50 pairs of skis, branded Mont-Sainte-Anne, are available for sale starting now, at the Resort’s boutique as well as in a few shops around the area. That, alongside a historical poster-calendar, thematic apparels, sunglasses and more…

Model Pursuit 700 with Rossignol Axial 3 120 fixations, available at the Sports Alpins boutique, at the base of the mountain.

Our emblematic gondolas turn GOLD

In 1966, Mont-Sainte-Anne was the first resort to operate gondolas in Eastern Canada and they’ve now become the symbol of the mountain. This winter, two of Mont-Sainte-Anne’s gondolas will be painted in gold, marking its 50th anniversary, where surprises will await visitors all season long! With Helly Hansen, 50 gifts will be distributed throughout the winter.

It will certainly be worth it to follow us on social media this season; our team has archive treasures to share with you… And it’s already started: look for #50MSA!

What’s new this season? More than 175 units at the base of the mountain

50 years old and still big plans taking place! As provided in the development plan of the resort, residential units are emerging at the base of Mont-Sainte-Anne. Last spring, the developer Habitations Boivin launched a project of more than 175 units, which are being built near the base of the mountain beside Mont-Sainte-Anne’s lake, offering a great view on the slopes. These units are being sold as condominiums

[single and multifamily residences]. This project has been designed with respect of Mont-Sainte-Anne’s philosophy, which is to preserve the natural environment and the mountain style.
