After a summer of growth and change, S-Media is not only launching a new look for Ski TV but a new phase and direction for the popular segment Ski Tips.

“We’re excited to join S-Media as they evolve Ski Tips and we are sure that the new look for the show will find the perfect setting here in Canada’s Natural Playground,” said Dan Markham,  Director, Brand & Communications for the Lake Louise Ski Resort.

Launching in the series opener in mid-December, Ski Tips will be hosted by Edith Rozsa, a long-time host of Ski Television. Rozsa, a former World Cup ski racer, brings her knowledge, insight and mountain passion – as well as Canadian Ski Coaches Federation and Canadian Ski Instructor Alliance certifications – to offer viewers practical tips to improve at every level in areas of technical and tactical aspects of skiing. Rozsa will be teamed up with esteemed videographer Daryl (LG) Palmer at Lake Louise for the 12 Ski Tips segments.

Rozsa keeps herself quite busy within the ski community, judging big-mountain competitions, coaching race, extreme and general ski camps, and guiding people in the mountains. She is known through the interior of B.C. for her women’s ski camps that blend both a coaching edge with instructional style.

“I grew up loving the mountains and of course skiing them as much as possible,” the Kelowna, B.C., resident said. “And to spend time in Lake Louise showcasing that incredible mountain while giving my perspective on the sport sounds like I’m in for a dream winter.”

A summer of change – that saw S-Magazine’s print distribution triple and the expansion of digital properties to a daily magazine – S-Media is primed for the upcoming season to showcase all aspects of the sport of skiing to the masses.

“We’re very excited about this new long-term partnership with this iconic Canadian ski resort,” said Mark Kristofic, Managing Partner. “Ski Tips has a loyal following and we aim to make this show bigger and better.”
