Tawatinaw Valley Alpine and Nordic Centre is one of the best lowland ski areas in Alberta. Located only one hour north of Edmonton, this ski hill spreads over 140 acres and offers 24 downhill runs and over 25km of scenic cross country ski trails. For those who crave a challenge, the terrain park has “hits”, “rails”, “funboxes” and one of two super pipes found in Alberta.
Located just off highway 2, the Ski Centre was established in 1967 for Canada’s Centennial and has operated ever since. Over the span of the last 40 years, the hill has grown to meet the needs of winter outdoor enthusiasts. Offering Alpine and Nordic skiing, as well as a terrain park.
