The Ontario snow season got an early boost with the new Toronto Snow Show featuring the Snow Show Pro-Am Rail Jam contest this past weekend. Presented by Sony Action Cam in conjunction with Mt St Louis MoonstoneBeaver ValleyBlue MountainHorseshoe Valley, Snowboard Canada and SBC Skier Magazine, the Snow Show Rail Jam featured one of the largest articficial outdoor hills ever built in Canada offering a progressive multi-rail, plaza style set-up complete with real snow.

The rail features were custom built by a team of Ontario’s leading park designers: Caleb Bosse – Beaver Valley; Matt Konings – Blue Mountain; and Craig Burley – Mt St Louis Moonstone; Matt Baird – Parks & Wreck; and quarterbacked by Todd Elsley of SBC Events.

With $5,000 pro cash and $5,000 am prizes on the line, 55 of Ontario’s best riders sessioned the rails in a two day contest format that kicked off with the Sony Action Cam – Pro Best Trick Contest followed by a Pro and Am Championship on day two. Strategically located next to the Snow Show’s main entrance, the Rail Jam attracted constant crowds and tons of live and taped tv news coverage from the likes of CTV, Global TV, City TV, CP24, Weather Network and Rogers TV. – See more at: Snowboardcanada.com
