It’s been a fantastic start to the season in Sun Peaks! After significant early season snowfalls enabled them to open a day early on Friday, November 20, they’ve been treated to more snow, sunny skies, breathtaking views, and fantastic bluebird powder skiing. All three mountains (including 100+ runs) are now open with top to bottom skiing and every lift, except for the West Bowl T Bar, is turning. The early snow has also provided amazing conditions for their Nordic trails, with beautiful clear skies and 34kms of trails to explore.
Many of their non-ski activities are also off to an early start. Snowshoe Rentals, Sleigh Rides, and some Dog Sled Tours are now available, with the remainder of the winter activities beginning in mid-December.
