Asessippi Ski Area & Resort experienced a gradual opening this season. Last week during the mid week, only a few runs opened, but by Sunday there were 12 runs groomed and open with more scheduled to open this week.
Get Amped is the traditional freestyle comp to kick off the season. This year 32 competitors enjoyed the mild temperatures and fantastic park features. New this season is the Robin’s Run handle tow, which was a big hit with this group.
The resort is now open daily over the holidays, except on Christmas day, please see their website for hours of operations and snow conditions.
Asessippi Ski Area & Resort is located just west of Inglis, near the Manitoba/Saskatchewan border.
