Out and About with Kids—an Australian magazine focused on family outings and fun—has voted BC’s Big White the best International Family Ski Resort of 2014.
Big White has triumphed over a number of high-profile ski resorts in the magazine’s annual Best of Family Travel Awards, including Colorado’s Vail and Aspen, as well as Banff, Alberta.
The magazine ranked its Top 5 family ski resorts as follows:
- Big White, BC
- Vail, CO
- Aspen, CO
- Banff, AB
- Niseko, Japan
“Big White, Kelowna has been voted as the winner of the Out & About with Kids 2014 Best of Family Travel Awards in the category of Best International family ski resorts,” said the magazine’s publisher, Richard Bunting, in mid-July. “This win comes from thousands of votes from our readers over six months from October 2013 to April of 2014.”
