Canada’s Hottest New Chairlift is at Sunshine Village

Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort is now home to Canada’s first chairlift with heated seats. The Teepee Town LX lift, located on Lookout Mountain, will be ready in time for the 2015-16 ski season and comes complete with orange bubble covers, footrests and heated seats. It will move as many as 1,200 skiers and riders up the mountain per hour at a speed of 5.08 meters per second.
