Nakiska Ski Area near Calgary, Alberta will open for the season on Saturday November 2nd and for another winter will be one of the first ski resorts to open in Canada.

“Being less than an hour away from Calgary and such a great place for all to ski and snowboard, Nakiska is the most convenient and easy to get to mountain ski area for Calgarians,” said Matt Mosteller, VP of Sales and Marketing at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. “Being one of the first in Canada to open, this weekend at Nakiska shouldn’t be missed.”

All RCR Season Passes will scan at Nakiska lifts this weekend!

 

Open: November 2nd & 3rd

Lift Hours: Olympic Chair & Gold Chair Express – 10:00am to 3:30pm

Runs: Upper Mountain – Upper & Middle Mapmaker, Mid-Mountain Crossing, Big Bear and Morley Flats.  (Skiing will be available on intermediate & expert terrain)

Ticket Price: $42.95 + GST for Adults (18-64)

 

Services Open:

Daylodge Open 8:00am – 4:30pm (F&B, retail, lockers and washrooms)

Slopeside Café Open 8:00am – 4:30pm

Mid-Mountain Lodge Open 10:00am to 3:00pm

Guest Services Open 8:00am – 4:30pm

Winter Sports School Open 9:00am – 1:00pm.
