You can now buy snowboards and snowboard gear from Burton Snowboards on Ossington. The popular U.S. snowboard brand just opened their first Canadian retail outlet this Sunday on Ossington Avenue.
The new Burton store is at 98 Ossington, underneath Lower Ossington Theatre in the space formerly occupied by Ride Cycle Club, before it moved around the corner. Burton’s northern expansion begins with this Ossington store.
The store has a little hangout room in the front, with a couple of seats and an old-school air hockey game. The walls are decorated with cool snowboarding photos, and the space has a clean, comfy vibe. Right now, there is a lot of clothing for the upcoming cold months, and, of course, snowboarding gear.
Burton Snowboards Future Plans
The staff at the Burton store are friendly and excited to be on Ossington, and this local team plans to offer community engagement and in-store events in the months ahead. Follow their local Instagram account for updates.
The Burton Ossington shop is a new addition to the growing list of sportswear retailers on Ossington which includes Reigning Champ, Peace Collective, Town Moto and Lululemon the Local. Toronto shoppers have a “one-stop shopping” destination on Ossington.
