To help raise awareness about the potential impacts of climate change and encourage skiers and snowboarders to take steps to reduce their own environmental impact, Blue Mountain Resort hosted its eleventh annual Keep Winter Cool event on Thursday March 13, 2014.
Keep Winter Cool took place in the Blue Mountain Village Events Plaza from 11:00am – 3:30pm with educational and fun programs for the entire family.
This year’s event featured everything from Elephant Thoughts 18-foot inflatable polar bear, McMaster University’s solar racing car, Earth Rangers’ Animal Ambassadors, an off-the-grid DJ show, the Collus Renewable Energy Trailer, and more.
