Lake Louise

The wait is over, the Lake Louise Ski Resort near Banff, AB is rolling out the white carpet Friday November 8, 2013.

A storm last week, backed up by The Lake’s new and improved snow making facilities, is allowing the Banff resort to open as scheduled.

What’s Open: Open will be 1,450ft of vertical from the Glacier Chair down Bald Eagle, Wiwaxy and Easy Street. A limited rail park will also be open on Wiwaxy.

Lift Pass Costs: Early season pricing will be in effect with 50% off regular season rates, plus a further discount for Louise Plus Card holders.

Discount Lodging: The Great Divide Lodge, located only 17km (10min) west of Lake Louise will be offering until November 17th a package that combines a lift ticket for the Lake Louise Ski Resort and an overnight stay in a forest view room for $69/person/night. During this early season promotional sale guests can also add hot breakfast and supper for only $30/person/night more. The property features a licensed restaurant and bar, complimentary wi-fi, sauna, parking, and return shuttle to The Lake Louise Ski Resort. Kids under 16 stay free and kids under 5 stay and ski free. Rates are per person plus taxes, based on double occupancy and availability. Additional conditions may apply.
