Whistler Photo

The Whistler Outdoor Photography Summit is back September 11-14, 2014 with an increased line up of workshops, presentations, photographers, and industry experts.

The Whistler Outdoor Photography Summit focuses on the entire process of documenting, exploring the outdoors, and capturing amazing outdoor visuals through photography.

The day courses work on being out in the field learning how to manage, direct and communicate with subjects to make what participants are looking for come to life in all types of conditions. Each day includes in classroom editing, reviewing, image processing and hands-on software instruction; each evening includes presentations, lectures, and slide shows in the Millennium Place theatre with industry experts and guests followed by a group dinner at the renowned Bearfoot Bistro in Whistler village.

This year, organizers have put together a more diverse selection of options to enhance your outdoor experience through photography at any level from beginner to professional.

New for this year the summit will be offering a beginner and advanced action workshop, a classroom-only Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom intensive, and a new line up of speakers and photo presentations for the evening series.
