Marmot Basin opens for the season this Saturday, November 14, much to the delight of skiers and snowboarders who are eager to get out on the slopes. Mountain crews have been working around the clock to get runs ready and snowmaking is ongoing.
The Eagle Express High-Speed Quad Chair, the School House Chair and the Magic Carpet will be operating on opening day with five runs open in the lower part of the mountain.
As of Thursday, November 12, Jasper is under a “Snowfall Warning” with the heaviest amounts forecast for Thursday night and Friday morning. Snow remains in the forecast throughout the weekend.
Discounted lift tickets will be in effect from opening day and are subject to change at any time.
