Easter Celebrations, Caribou Cup, Burton El Nino, ROCK & RIDE ROCKSTAR @ Tremblant, Corona Spring Skiing and Tremblant International Blues Festival Program Unveiling

Mont-Tremblant, March 19, 2016 – Spring does mean longer days out on the trails, but at Tremblant it also means a lively village, sun-drenched patios, and a joyful string of events best shared with that special someone, family or friends. The resort destination known for its trail diversity across four faces and its festive events is launching its spring celebrations March 19.

Après Ski Village par Excellence
After sailing the trails all day, the pedestrian village is the go-to place of seasoned skiers. With its lively patios and spirited ambience where music occupies a place of choice, Tremblant’s spring après skis feel so good, especially when they’re stretched out at one of the resort’s many restaurants.

LTD – March 19 
Boutique Adrénaline and Magasin de la Place are hosting a spring race offering $4,000 in swag for those who impress the judges on the special rails set up on the South Side Base. Starting at 1 pm, Rockstar will be on-site as men, women and juniors on skis or snowboards can show off their skills to win honours and prizes courtesy of Anon, Armada, Burton, GoPro and Volcom.

Easter Fun for Families – March 27 
Easter is celebrated with a traditional Easter Egg Hunt at a few go-to locations where kids meet up with a makeup artist, and characters like the incredible Easter Bunny. The older set can relax on Place St-Bernard where a DJ holds the party beat. Click here for details about Easter Day.

Caribou Cup – April 2
This spring event with a long-standing reputation draws slide sport gurus with varying degrees of skill and creativity. Spectators enjoy exciting performances by costumed skiers and riders who attempt to cross the legendary 75′ pond before ending their ride to fame at the celebrated Le P’tit Caribou bar. Corona ambassadors will be in attendance to fire up the crowd and encourage participants. 18 years+.

ROCK & RIDE ROCKSTAR @ Tremblant – April 3 
For skiers and riders, April 3 marks a day for sizzling BBQs, good tunes, a relaxed ambience, friendly competition and celebrating spring. While access to Parc Adrénaline is free, fans are treated to a brand new module inaugurated as part of the event. Québec’s own World Cup slopestyler Alex Bellemare as well as snowboarders Nic Sauvé and Will Lavigne will be judging the events and meeting participants. Please note that kids under the age of 16 must present a tutor-signed Risk Waiver to be allowed to access Parc Adrénaline.

Burton El Nino – April 3 
This long-standing event calls out to all snowboarders 12 and under interested in improving their snowpark skills: Burton El Nino is hosting a one-day camp conducted by Burton and Burton Tremblant coaches. After a day of snowpark training, a friendly competition showcasing rider skills in front of the judges will award prizes to the most deserving. Same-day registration at Burton Tremblant boutique.

Tremblant International Blues Festival Program Unveiling – April 9 
At 3pm, April 9, the 23rd edition program of the Tremblant International Blues Festival is being launched live, from Place St-Bernard, with event presenter Anne-Marie Withenshaw. Mark your calendar to see which artists and headliners will be attending the Festival, July 8 ‒ 17. Setting the mood for the summer’s main event, 2015’s People’s Pick, Andria Simone, is also performing.

Corona Spring Skiing – April 9 
April 9 is when skiers and riders meet at the North Side Base, to wrap up the season in style. While Corona ambassadors will be in attendance handing out swag, La Corona Sunset brew will be exclusively available in bottles sporting the brand’s mountain label. Slide sport fans are welcome to capture that stoked end-of-season feeling forever ‒ at a special photo booth!

Lolë Meet-Up – March 19, 27 & April 3, 10
Hosted by Lolë ambassadors, these meet-ups feature a free outdoor yoga, pylo cardio or Piyo class for beginners and habitués alike. Comfortable yoga attire required; a few mats can be loaned out to yoga first-timers.
