A Festive Spring at Tremblant

Burton El Nino, Oakley Progression Sessions, Red Bull Tour Bus, Caribou Cup & Lolë Meet-ups

Mont-Tremblant – Not only does spring mean longer days out on the trails, at
Tremblant it also means a lively village, sun-drenched patios and a joyful string of events best shared with
that special someone, family or friends. The resort destination known for its wide array of trails across four
faces and festive events is launching its spring celebrations on March 21.

Après Ski Village Par Excellence
After sailing the slopes all day, the pedestrian village is the go-to place of seasoned and social skiers
alike. With its sun-drenched terraces and spirited ambience where African, Jamaican, Latino and Cubano
music each occupy a place of choice during themed weekends, Tremblant is where spring après skis feel
so good, especially when they’re stretched out at one of the resort’s many restaurants.

Burton El Nino – March 29
On the event calendar for many years now and calling out to all snowboarders 12 and under who are
interested in improving their rider skills, Burton El Nino is a one-day camp conducted by Burton and
Burton Tremblant coaches. After a day of on-hill training, a friendly competition showcases rider savoir
faire before the judges who will be awarding three prizes to the most deserving. Same-day registration, at
Burton Tremblant boutique.

Oakley Progression Sessions – April 4 & 5
For ladies only, the Oakley Progression Sessions are perfect turn camps for skiers and riders who want
to push their slide skills up to the next level. Guided by pros like Marie-France Roy, Kim Lamarre,
Dominique Vallée, Mary Walsh and Christine Savage, participants share their passion for their favourite
slide sport while receiving precious tips from renowned athletes. In between, the weekend is filled with
quality learning opportunities and get-togethers, from yoga sessions and stretching to lively meals and
après skis! Do book quickly because space is limited, and disappearing fast.

Easter Fun for Families – April 5
The Convention Centre is hosting a morning creative workshop where youngsters are invited to create
their own Easter egg, and a basket too to be used later on a goody hunt. The traditional Easter Egg Hunt
features a number of stopovers where kids meet with a make-up artist and several celebrities − including
the Easter Bunny. After the hunt, they are invited to hang their personally decorated egg on the Easter
Tree. Click here for details.

Red Bull Tour Bus Pulls Into Tremblant – April 10 & 11
The Red Bull Tour Bus is stopping at Tremblant April 10, complete with its pull-out stage and 20,000
watts of sound. For the time being, artists’ names are being kept under wraps but true to the Red Bull
name, a highly colourful show is expected. On Saturday, the Red Bull Sugga provides entertainment at
the foot of the trails. With sound and screens and all the allure of a vintage car, it guarantees a devillishly
fun atmosphere for skiers… and après skiers.

Caribou Cup – April 11
This springtime event with a long-standing reputation draws slide sport gurus of varying calibres and
degrees of creativity. Spectators enjoy exciting performances by costumed skiers and riders who attempt
to cross a legendary 75′ pond before ending their run at the celebrated Le P’tit Caribou bar. Participants
must be 18 years+.

Lolë Meet-ups – March 22 & 29 and April 5 & 12
Hosted by Lolë ambassadors, these meet-ups offer free outdoor yoga sessions for beginners and
habitués alike. Comfortable yoga attire is required; a few mats can be loaned out to first-timers.

Unlimited Spring Skiing for $159
Skiers and riders who purchase a Spring Pass before March 10 enjoy 23 days of skiing, including four
weekends, from March 21 to April 12 2015. A very sweet deal indeed: after only three visits, the pass is
paid for! And when booking a stay at least 24 hours in advance between March 22 and April 12 2015, the
Spring Special on Lodging offers a 20% discount on one-night stays, while 2-night stays or more
