tremblant

Quebec’s Tremblant Village is preparing for its Holiday celebrations December 21 to January 4 with a modern-day version of a good old-fashioned Christmas.

Outdoor Entertainment

From buskering to clowning, a clever family of elves is set to perform music and acrobatics all day long, transporting vacationers and merrymakers in the purest of holiday traditions. Late afternoon, the Grelots will be singing round songs and playing old-time favourites, inviting everyone to accompany them on wooden spoons. Come nightfall, all can gather around them by the fireside, for a delightful storytelling get-together.

Santa Claus is Coming to…Tremblant!

On December 24 and causing quite a sensation as he arrives at Place des Voyageurs, Santa Claus will be leading a parade guests are welcome to join, as it winds its way down to Place Saint-Bernard. The joys of the holiday season are also celebrated with caroling performed by vocal trio Les Mères Noël, down Tremblant’s lanes, in its boutiques and at its many merchants until December 25 inclusively.

New Year’s Eve Snow Show, Disco & Fireworks Display

New Year’s Eve celebrations begin at 8:30pm on December 31, with a Torchlight Parade that a few lucky guests with advance reservations are invited to join, lighting up the slopes with 75 candles. The Parade is followed by an on-trail show presented by Tremblant’s Snow School and the Tremblant Ski Club, and a merry evening of dancing with DJ as revellers sporting pristine whites and glam glitter get set to take over Place Saint-Bernard, converted into a genuine open-air disco. At the stroke of midnight, a fireworks display will ring in the New Year at the base of the mountain.
