Ziplining

Whistler’s new Superfly Zipline company will run six winter zipline tours daily on the longest, highest ziplines in Canada.

With ziplines more than a kilometre long, hovering at 600 feet above the forest floor, Superfly’s new ziplines travel between two separate mountains. Riders are immersed in larger-than-life views of Wedge Mountain and the stunning Coast Mountain Range, with real wilderness under foot.

Superfly’s new winter program includes:

Superfly’s Winter Ziplines – The Winter Zipline Tour begins in a heated snowcat, taking guests up Rainbow Mountain for hot drinks around a roaring fireplace in a private yurt. Guests will then embark on a zipline tour reaching speeds of up to 100 km/hour as they fly through the BC backcountry. The three-hour round trip tour starts daily at 10:00 am. The Superfly Winter Zipline tour is priced at $129 per adult, and $99 for children aged 12 and under.

Soar through the Dark with the Superfly Evening Dinner Tour: Brand new this winter season is Superfly’s Evening Dinner Tour that combines a snowcat ride up Rainbow Mountain, an adrenaline-charged fly through the dark, and a gourmet dining experience in a private backcountry yurt. Catered by the renowned Bearfoot Bistro, the dinner features a menu that includes Classic French Alsatian Onion Tart, Slow Braised Angus Beef and Warm Date Pudding with Maple Butterscotch.

After dinner the magic begins. Soaring through the dark under a starlit sky from platform to platform, guests will be treated to an unforgettable zipline tour sure to get the heart thumping. The only such tour offered in Whistler, the 4-hour round-trip tour departs at 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm daily, and is priced at $199 per person.

Working with top engineers in the country, Superfly has developed safe, comfortable lines highlighted by a smooth braking system and a industry leading-harness assembly that can transport everyone including children to guests with accessibility challenges. With expert staff at a backcountry location that’s only 10 minutes by car north of Whistler, Superfly anticipates a busy winter full of wild eyed and big smiling pilots.
