Many of the events will occur during the 25th annual Jasper in January Festival, which takes place from January 18 – Feb 2. Discounted lift tickets, street parties, live entertainment and a host of other events are planned for the 16-day festival. Details can be found at www.jaspercelebrates.com

Marmot Basin is also making it even easier for skiers and snowboarders to get on the slopes faster and with a lot less hassle. New for this season, the My Marmot Card is available on-line at www.skimarmot.com and is absolutely free. My Marmot Card members can load lift tickets directly on to their personalized Card and get direct to lift access along with a 10% savings on lift tickets.  My Marmot Card members will also receive other exclusive promotional offers throughout the season adding even more value to being a member. There is no cost to become a My Marmot Card member other than the few minutes it takes to register on the Marmot Basin website.

Those looking to rent equipment may also now reserve and pay for their rentals at Marmot’s on-line store. Upon arrival at the ski area all the equipment is set up and waiting for pick up at the new VIP reservations desk. This means there will be no waiting in lines to get equipment fitted or to pay for rentals.
