Much has been lost and learned since that fateful day in March 2020 but rather than dwell on what cannot be changed, we’re looking optimistically at what has been learned and how we can use that to propel business – and the industry – forward in the coming years.

An upcoming meeting to be schedule in late-June (stay tuned for details) will reveal detailed research findings. In the meantime, we’re encouraged by preliminary insights gathered through post-visit research among both new and returning skiers as well as regular skiers.

One of the takeaways we’re keen to see actioned across all ski areas: the majority of new and returning skiers intend to maintain or increase their time on the slopes post-pandemic. This is a huge growth opportunity that we’ll be leveraging and supporting over the coming months.
