Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre

The Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre is located on 3,000 acres of wetlands, fen and forest in Midland, Ontario (Near Georgian Bay). The Centre includes an amphibian and reptile display hall, hiking, biking and skiing trails, canoeing and kayaking routes, an observation tower and boardwalks, birds of prey display, education classroom, event facilities, gift shop and Naturalists on staff.

Whitewater Ski Resort

Whitewater Ski Resort, located just outside Nelson, British Columbia, is a powderhound paradise with an average annual snowfall of over 40 feet. Whitewater, who calls the legendary Selkirk Mountain Range home, provides skiers and snowboarders 1184 acres of skiable terrain and a 2044 foot vertical drop. The mountain consists of groomed runs, open bowls, glades, chutes, and tree skiing all accessible from three chairlifts including the new Glory Ridge chair. The town of Nelson provides guests with a selection of Inns, hotels, motels and guest homes as well as a ton of dining options.

Whistler Blackcomb

Whistler and Blackcomb are two mountains that sit side by side, providing skiers and snowboarders over 200 trails spread out on 8,171 acres of skiable terrain (the most in all of North America), 16 alpine bowls and 3 glaciers. Whistler Blackcomb benefits from over 469 inches of average annual snowfall and a wide variety of terrain that caters to all abilities and ages. The Peak 2 Peak Gondola provides access between the two mountains. The resort is also home to 17 mountain restaurants as well as accomodations for all budgets in the Village.

Whispering Pines

Whispering Pines is situated on a north and east slope in the beautiful Clear Hills in Northern Alberta. In 1984 it started as a small ski area, and soon became known for its good snow conditions.

Valley Ski Hill

The Valley Ski Club is a non-profit club established in 1947 by a small group of skiers that loved skiing and wished to share that love with the greater community. The first hill was established at Heatherly Valley, near Castor, Alberta. A tow rope and small lodge were all they needed to get the club off the ground.

For those who crave a challenge, the terrain park has "hits", "rails", "funboxes" and one of two super pipes found in Alberta.
